Why not? (1º journal )

when I was checking my messages on DA, there were 23 messages. I think that's normal but when I checked them all it were 20 journals!! omg!! I have not created any journals before but a lot of my DA friends post something about 1 or 2 journal a day!! God!! When I see my messages box full i just think "yeah some one saw and commented my art

" but when I check it there are 79468546194 journals and none replies ... It make me sad

But a few people reply mine

damn it there are much journals and sooo few replies
but you always make a comment thank you

Give more favourites or comment on other people there work, it will increase your exposure and will lead to improvements in your photography and number of replies.

But on most of my images it's my friends for real life the reply... and once in a while a very good photographer that gives critique that tells me how to improve my work.

And keep this in mind: Don't constantly compare yourself to other artist it will make you feel less happy and it wont help creating your very own style

I know I know, I'm I kind of new here yet, I don't want be famous by DA, I just will keep uploading some pics, and making friends. The replies will come with the time

That's a good way also

the reason why I would like to get famous is simple: you get more critique you can learn from... not for being famous (since I rather hate standing in the spotlight). It's just the amout of critique that I appriciate, you can learn a lot from that

I think My pictures is not that good to be famous. I most improve my skills before think about "be famous"
